Ides of March 44 BCE; Transmetal as Julius Caesar

(The Ides of March, in the year 44 BCE. Transmetal has become Julius Caesar, leader of the Roman Empire. He stands, toga-clad, on the steps of the Capitol. Behind him is a large statue of Pompey.)

Trans: Woah, cool. Julius Caesar, excellent. So here I am in 44 BCE... yep... sometime in March. What the hell is an "ide," anyways? Big building behind me... wearing a toga... hey, toga! TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!

(As Trans is busy trying to start a toga party with the locals, Kain as Brutus, along with various others, sneaks up behind him and stabs him.)

Trans: OW!

Kain: Take that, you cruel... dictator... thing!

Trans: Et tu... Kain? What the hell are you doing here?

Kain: Um, killing you, I thought. Isn't that how the story goes?

Trans: Damn.

Kain: Is this the part where I'm supposed to feel bad and fall to my knees and weep for having slain my friend Julius Caesar?

Trans: Er... yes, I think so. That would be nice.

Kain: DIE, IMPERIAL PIG-DEMON!!!

Trans: OW!!!
