What the hell is this? Chu Chu Rocket? Okay, this is hands down the weirdest looking game, EVER!!! Well I did have that duck tape based game idea, were your a secret agent trapped behind enemy lines with your hippo partner, and all you have is duck tape to go back in time and defeat the Spanish armada. I called it George and Hippo, the Duck Tape of Ages. But this one is real.

Duck Tape note- For all of you people complaining that it’s called Duct Tape, wrap your minds around o little history. It was originally created by the army, and used to seal crates. Because water slip off it, it was known as DUCK tape, but later is was discover it could be used for other things, namely heating DUCTs. SO it was later known as DUCT tape. Both are acceptable. See, I know plenty.

So it looks weird, so does Barbie Boy, we don’t hold it against him.

Yes we do.

Right, right. But it’s still a good game.

Yea.

Graphics

This is by far the most interesting thing I have ever seen. Seriously, it’s like Picasso meets Tom & Jerry. At first I wondered what the makers were on. But once I played, the look was perfect for it.

Dis the Picasso Cats, or the mutant mice all you want, but I love the little guys. There well, just look at them. FIND A PICTURE OF THEM. FOR GODS SAKE YOU CAN’T DESCRIBE THEM.

Sound

The music is absolutely perfect for the game. End of Story. It fits in perfect with Picasso’s cruel version of the animal kingdom. and even if your not playing, I could just listen to the music, and watch the press start screen for ever. I did once. Well not for ever, until I had a seizure. But it was worth it. Got to dig those crazy beats.

Gameplay

So, what exactly do you do in this game? I’m glad you asked. In multiplayer, you must get as many mice into your rocket before the time ends. But there are 3 other players trying to get the mice, and cats, so many cats. You use little arrows that you place on the ground, mice follow them, but so do the cats.

In single player, it’s like a puzzle game. Get all the mice in the rocket with out killing any. They get progressively harder, you will not sleep once you start a puzzle.

Sonic Team has done it again, this game is a beautiful thing, so creative, so wonderful, so addictive.

Controls

The controls are nice and simple. The controller has four buttons, The top button makes an arrow pointing up, and the left button makes an arrow pointing you guessed it left. It’s like that for all the buttons. And so you can place them in different spots, you have an arrow, just like the one your mouse has. You move it around with the, you guessed it again, the control stick.

This control system is really ingenious, and makes it so you and your friends can play faster, and multiplayer is what this game is really all about, not to insult the single, single still kicks ass. But the controls are great, and simple.

By far, one of the best games ever. And so under appreciated. Like Super Monkey Ball. There great games, get them, get them now. Why are you not buying them. WHY?!
